Research Projects (R&D)

Our team is composed of people with scientific degrees, with a creative and curious nature. This is the reason why Bio3 has an intrinsic need to innovate; so we can add value to our services. Bio3 develops solutions that better suit the needs of our clients, allowing them to reconcile their plans/projects with natural resources conservation, and assessing their effects on ecosystems over time. We validate the scientific accuracy/relevance of internal R&D projects through partnerships with scientific institutions.

In February 2011 Bio3 started the R&D project Wind & Biodiversity in partnership with the Aveiro University (Portugal). The main goal is to develop the technologies and know-how necessary to reconcile wind farms with biodiversity.
