Bio3 has participated in the IAIA 2012 Conference
Between May 27 and June 2, took place in Porto (Portugal) the 32nd annual conference of the International Association For Impact Assessment (IAIA 2012, Energy Future: The Role of Impact Assessment). Around 900 delegates from more than 90 countries attended this year’s conference.
Bio3 has participated in the event with 3 oral presentations and 2 posters:

“Offshore renewable in Portugal: first specific biodiversity assessment in the PPZ - Portuguese Pilot Zone” (oral presentation);

“SEA of a Road Network Plan: effects on wolf populations” (oral presentation);

“Are we properly assessing bird and bat mortality” (oral presentation);

“The Wind & Biodiversity project” (poster);
-
“Bird and bat mortality at Portuguese wind farms” (poster).
Additionally Bio3 was the only Portuguese company invited to present its work at the “Career Development for (future) Impact Assessment Professionals” session. This 'World Café' session aimed to allow students, young job seekers, and early career professionals to make a closer contact with organizations and companies for potential employment.
