Tuberaria major is a priority species for conservation. This lusitanic endemism occurs only in the Algarve region and is subject to different pressures that threaten the continuity of the species.

Bio3 was invited to participate as a speaker at the International Workshop Effects of Marine Renewables and other marine uses on Biodiversity, promoted by the FAME Project.

Bio3 attended the seminar Conservation of the cereal steppes, conducted in Castro Verde, Portugal on the 7th and 8th November 2012. The company presented the work conducted in Castro Verde SPA in 2010-2011 about the Steppe Birds Monitoring.
